\nLotus Education Grants is a signature project of HuaQiao Foundation, which aims to support outstanding students from needy families, especially high school and college students. Applications are accepted in August and February each year, including individual application and group application. Applicants need to submit the application form (see Huaqiao website) and relevant supporting documents. Our staff will verify the documents and evaluate their qualification. Applicants who are awarded with a scholarship from Lotus Education Grants are required to submit their transcripts and social practice reports to us every semester.

\nIn 2014, Lotus Education Grants of HuaQiao Foundation has sponsored 145 students with 178,000 RMB in total. All sponsored students are from high schools or universities, except several students form Hanting primary school in Anhui Province. Besides financial support, we also encourage all sponsored students to actively participate in various social activities and give their own contributions to society.
