\nWestern Public Welfare Forum was launched in 2010. Held once every other year in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, it aims to increase exchanges between eastern and western China and promote development in western China. Cooperating with universities and colleges in China and local government, it has been successfully held three times. In 2013, 13 public welfare organizations and 32 college teams attended the forum. At the forum, directors of these organizations and teams, and other guests shared their opinions and experiences on education in western China, environmental protection, development of western charity organizations and project implementation by college teams, which greatly strenthened the students’ sense of community and service.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
